![]() How I connected my Chromebook to a Cricut Cutting MachineĪfter a short 2-day wait (thanks Amazon!) I pulled my Cricut out of the packaging and set out to connect it to my Chromebook. Tip: To figure out if your chromebook is Android-compatible, check this list. While they both work well, any Android-compatible Chromebook should work fine. I have connected my Cricut to multple Chromebooks including the HP x360 and the Samsung Chromebook Pro. For someone like me, who has never used the “regular” version, it works great and does everything I need it to do! If you are a veteran Cricut user, you might find the Android app restrictive when compared with the desktop version. I’ve never used the desktop version of Design Space, but I’m pretty sure that the Android app is simplified. Note: I bought the Cricut Air 2 (in black, of course), but any Cricut model should work just fine with your Chromebook. Always double check to see if you can install it on your Chromebook.Īgain, all of the articles and videos I watched said that I wouldn’t be able to connect a Cricut cutter to my Chromebook, but I ignored them and bought one anyway! Note: just because an Android app exisists, doesn’t mean it will be compatible with your Chromebook. I quickly opened up the Google Play Store on my Chromebook to see if I could download the Design Space Android App. ![]() Android Apps: the solution I was looking forĭesign Space, the software used to communicate with the Cricut cutter, is only available for Mac and PC.

On Thursday afternoon, Vanessa Bryant walked out of court during testimony that described photos taken at the scene of the crash. Vanessa Bryant was not present for Johnson’s testimony. Johnson said he deleted the photos he took the night of the crash once he got home as well as the text thread with a deputy at the command post with whom he had shared the photos. This person has not been identified by anyone else in the court up to this point, leading the plaintiff attorney to suggest the photos could still be accessible somewhere. He sent the photos to the command post and airdropped them to a fire department “supervisor” he was unable to identify. “I know I didn’t do anything wrong,” he testified, adding that he does not regret what he did and wouldn’t have done anything differently. Johnson said it is a common practice to text close-up photos of dead bodies to other deputies, and he had received numerous similar photos throughout his career without ever being disciplined. Photos shown to the courtroom were graphic in nature, depicting severed limbs and deceased children. Johnson, who was the first of two deputies to arrive at the crash scene, said he took about 25 photos at the site on his personal cell phone because he was not issued a work phone, and about one-third of the images contained human remains. ![]() ![]() minimum heap where the root is always the minimum value.ĭifference between PriorityQueue and TreeSet This is one point where you will see both similarities and differences between PriorityQueue and TreeSet in Java, like both, provide O(log(N)) complexity for adding, removing, and searching elements, but when you want to remove the highest or lowest priority element then PriorityQueue gives O(1) performance because it always keeps the element in the head, much like a heap data structure i.e. Similarly, TreeSet must re-arrange elements so that they remain the sorted order specified by Comparator or natural order imposed by Comparable. PriorityQueue must adjust after every insertion or deletion to keep the lowest or highest element in head position. When I say eligibility, which means which objects can be stored in PrioritySet and TreeSet? Is there any restriction or all objects are allowed? Well, there is, you can only store objects which implement Comparable or Comparator in both PriorityQueue and TreeSet because the collection classes are responsible for keeping their commitment i.e. This will help you to think of scenarios where you can use a PriorityQueue in place of TreeSet or vice-versa. What are similarities between PriorityQueue and TreeSetīefore looking at the difference between Priority Queue and TreeSet, let's first understand the similarities between them. You can use one in place of another in some scenarios but not in all scenarios and that's what the interviewer is looking for when he asked this question to you on Interview. This is one of the frequently asked Collection interview questions and what makes it interesting is the subtle difference between a lot of similarities between PriorityQueue and TreeSet. On the other hand, TreeSet keeps all elements in sorted order, and the iterator returned by TreeSet will allow you to access all elements in that sorted order. Only guarantee PriorityQueue gives that head will always be the smallest or largest element. It can contain multiple elements with equal values and in that case head of the queue will be arbitrarily chosen from them.Īnother key difference between TreeSet and PriorityQueue is iteration order, though you can access elements from the head in sorted order like head always give you lowest or highest priority element depending upon your Comparable or Comparator implementation iterator returned by PriorityQueue doesn't provide any ordering guarantee. ![]() both provide O(log(N)) time complexity for adding, removing, and searching elements, both are non-synchronized and you can get elements from both PriorityQueue and TreeSet in sorted order, but there is a fundamental difference between them, TreeSet is a Set and doesn't allow a duplicate element, while PriorityQueue is a queue and doesn't have such restriction. This method swaps the elements of two priority_queue.The PriorityQueue and TreeSet collection classes have a lot of similarities e.g. Size() returns the number of element present in the priority _queue, whereas empty() returns Boolean true if the priority_queue is empty else Boolean false is returned. This method returns the element at the top of the priority_queue which is the greatest element present in the queue. pop() // removes 90 ( greatest element in the queue This method removes the topmost element from the priority_queue (greatest element) ,reducing the size of the priority queue by 1. push(60) // inserts 60 to pq1, top still is 90 ![]() push(90) // inserts 90 to pq1, now top = 90 push(40) // inserts 40 to pq1, now top = 40 ( maxinmum element) push(30) // inserts 30 to pq1, now top = 30 The insertion of the elements have time complexity of logarithmic time. This method inserts an element in the priority_queue. Therefore, it’s best to consult the manufacturer’s instructions prior to using aluminum foil in an air fryer. In some cases, a reaction between aluminum foil and the heating element can result in a fire. If you use too much aluminum foil, it may block the flow of the hot air and can impede the appliance’s performance. It’s typically recommended to limit the aluminum foil to small pieces that evenly cover the bottom of the air fryer basket and shouldn’t exceed more than one full layer of overlapping pieces. As such, it’s important to stay within the manufacturer’s guidelines and follow the directions in the instruction manual. However, you should use caution when doing so and be aware that aluminum foil can cause sparks in an air fryer. Yes, you can put aluminum foil in an air fryer. Once done, take the food out of the basket with tongs or a spatula and enjoy. Keep an eye on the food to make sure it doesn’t get too brown or crispy. Cook the leftovers for a few minutes at the designated temperature, turning them over halfway through cooking. Make sure to spray the inner basket with cooking oil for best results.Īfterwards, carefully place your leftovers in the preheated basket and close the lid. To do so, you will need to first preheat the air fryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Yes, you can heat up leftovers in an air fryer. Can you heat up leftovers in an air fryer? The reheat feature is great for ensuring that food is served hot, crispy and delicious anytime. To use the reheat button, simply place the food inside the air fryer basket, press the reheat button, and set the timer for a few minutes depending on how much food you are reheating. The reheat button, sometimes referred to as a keep warm button, will activate the heating element of an air fryer and get hot air circulating to heat up the food once again. The reheat feature is a great option for quickly reheating leftovers, warming up pre-cooked meals, or to get food back up to the desired temperature when it’s not quite hot enough after the initial air frying process.
